Hot off the press from Melrose-based photographers Alex Aikman Smith and Lloyd Smith: three new bridal fashion shoots commissioned by The Best Scottish Weddings magazine!
In advance of this year’s remake of movie classic The Great Gatsby, the magnificent Wedderburn Castle in Duns played host to Aikman Smith’s interpretation of the period drama, featuring the modelling talents of Freddie at Model Team and Tessa at Superior.
Inspired by the forthcoming London Olympics 2012, ‘Mighty Aphrodite’ is a sumptuous Grecian goddess fashion story, featuring models Katy at Model Team and Sara at Superior. The set was constructed and shot at Borders Studio in Selkirk.
Finally, a ‘Diamond Jubilee’ jewellery story shot in Glasgow, featuring stunning diamond creations from some of Scotland’s top jewellers, was modelled by belles Emma and Ashleigh from The Look agency. Recently back from shooting the annual London Moonwalk, official Walk the Walk photographer Lloyd Smith is now looking forward to photographing this weekend’s Edinburgh Moonwalk and its 12,000 nocturnal participants.
